Navy wool forms the body and sleeves in a classic, boxy silhouette, with no leather anywhere on this style. The collar, cuffs, and waistband are done in a cream wool-blend ribbed knit carrying a navy double stripe — the reverse of our other striped styles, which pair a colored ribbing base with a white or contrast stripe rather than a cream base. Six silver snap buttons close the front placket, and two curved welt pockets sit at the hip, following a rounded line rather than a straight or slanted cut.

Most of our striped-trim styles put the body color on the ribbing itself with a lighter stripe running through it; this one flips that, keeping the ribbing cream with navy stripes instead. It's a small color-order change that shifts how much the trim stands out against the navy body — the cream reads brighter and more prominent than a navy-based ribbing would.
