Steel-blue leather forms the entire body and sleeves, set in at the shoulder with vertical princess seams shaping the back panel. A ribbed knit collar, cuffs, and waistband stay tonal blue, and a silver-tone zipper runs the full front closure. Two vertical welt pockets sit straight at the hip, and each side seam carries a short zip vent near the hem — a detail not found on our black or brown zip-front styles.

Most of our leather bombers come in black or brown, so this steel-blue colorway reads noticeably lighter without giving up the same tailored, structured shape. The side-seam zip vents are a functional detail as much as a styling one: unzipped, they loosen the hem slightly for movement; zipped, the jacket sits closer to the body.

The princess seams through the back give this jacket a closer shape through the waist than a straight-cut bomber, and the side zip vents allow a little extra room at the hem when unzipped.

Care Instructions

This style has three zippers instead of one, so give the front zip and both side vents the same attention: a light pass of zipper wax or a dry lubricant every few months keeps all three pulling smoothly. Colored leather like this steel blue can occasionally transfer a small amount of dye onto light fabrics through repeated friction in the first several wears, so keep it away from pale bags or upholstery until the dye has fully set. Condition the leather itself every few months with a leather-specific product.
