Brown leather forms the entire body and sleeves, set in at the shoulder with a horizontal yoke seam running across the upper back panel. A ribbed knit collar, cuffs, and waistband stay tonal brown, and a gold-tone zipper runs the full front closure. Two vertical welt pockets sit straight at the hip, a cleaner line than the angled pocket cut on our black leather style.

Brown leather wears differently than black day to day — it tends to read warmer and more casual, which is part of why gold-tone hardware was paired with it here instead of the silver-tone zipper on our black version. That warmth also means brown shows the natural grain and slight tonal variation in the hide more visibly than black does, so no two jackets in this colorway look quite identical.

The set-in shoulder and back yoke give this jacket a close, tailored line through the body, sitting at the hip rather than cropped at the waist.

Full leather has very little stretch, so if a sweater or heavier layer is going underneath, sizing up is worth considering rather than relying on give from the hide. Line up your chest and shoulder measurements with our size chart before ordering.

Care Instructions

Brown leather can show sun fading faster than black, pulling a slightly orange or reddish cast into the hide with prolonged exposure, so keep it away from direct sunlight during storage. Condition the leather every few months with a leather-specific product to maintain its color depth, and keep the gold-tone zipper pull dry, since moisture sitting on plated hardware over time can dull its finish faster than on the leather itself.
