This jacket is built in a bronze satin, body and sleeves in one continuous tone with a pointed, shirt-style collar and a full-length silver-tone zip running up the front. Two angled welt pockets sit symmetrically at the hip, and the cuffs and hem finish plain and turned rather than ribbed, giving the whole piece a clean, minimal line. A seam across the shoulder shapes the back into a slight yoke, and the cut runs cropped and boxy.

This is a real departure from the rest of our satin collection: every other style in the line uses ribbed knit trim at the collar, cuffs, and waistband along with a snap-button front, while this one skips ribbing entirely and closes with a zipper instead. The result reads more like a satin coach jacket than a classic ribbed varsity bomber, with the pointed collar and plain hem doing the styling work instead of contrast trim.

Care Instructions

Since this is our first zip-front style, keep the zipper teeth free of lint and fabric snags by zipping and unzipping slowly, and apply a bit of wax or zipper lubricant occasionally to keep it running smoothly. As with our other satin pieces, avoid direct ironing and store on a padded hanger to protect the sheen.
