Matte black wool forms the body and sleeves in a fitted, cropped cut, with curved princess seams running down the front for shape. A solid black ribbed knit collar tops six dark snap buttons, and two welt pockets sit at the hip, each framed in smooth black leather trim. The ribbed cuffs and waistband stay solid black, with no stripe or contrast color.

This is the first fully wool-body jacket in our lineup to use leather only as a small structural accent rather than a full panel or sleeve — the leather here frames just the pocket openings, leaving the rest of the jacket in matte wool. The princess seams do the shaping work instead, giving this piece a closer, more tailored fit than a straight-cut bomber.

Care Instructions

Matte wool shows lint and pet hair more visibly than our satin or leather styles, so keep a fabric brush or lint roller on hand for quick touch-ups between wears. Brush or steam the wool body to lift dust and wrinkles, and condition the leather pocket trim every few months with a small amount of leather-specific product, since that trim is a smaller surface area than a full leather panel and needs less product, not none.
